The World Health Organization confirmed that there is no truth to what some social media outlets in Syria are discussing regarding the expectation that Syria will declare a "surviving country" from the epidemic of "Covid 19" during a period of 21 days.
In a statement posted on its Syria page on Twitter, the organization stated that there is no such thing as the "Coordination Committee of the World Health Organization."
The organization reiterated that it is not possible to predict the developments of the "Covid 19" pandemic and to anticipate future cases of the disease in Syria or in any other country.
The Ministry of Health announced the registration of 16 cases of coronavirus in Syria, including two deaths.
