China today turned the national flag at the Tian'anmen Square in the capital, Beijing, to mourn those who died in the battle against the new epidemic of the Corona virus and the lives of the disease victims.
According to the Chinese News Agency, Xinhua, Chinese President Xi Jinping and other officials participated in the national mourning ceremony, as they offered a silent greeting in front of the flag.
The national flag was flagged all over the country and at all Chinese embassies and consulates abroad, and public recreational activities were suspended throughout the country.
It is reported that 81,639 confirmed cases of newly infected Corona virus have been reported on the Chinese mainland, and 3,326 people have died of the disease as of yesterday, according to the National Health Committee today.
