A man killed at least two people and stabbed seven others with a knife on a boulevard in downtown Romans-sur-Isère in the Drôme region on Saturday, April 4.
The man was arrested around 11 a.m. According to France Bleu, it would be a Sudanese, asylum seeker in their thirties. The reasons for his action are unknown at this time.
The vital prognosis of one of the injured people is in jeopardy.
Significant resources of police and firefighters are mobilized on the spot.
