The fifth resident of the Maanan Nursing Home in Be'er Sheva, and the 44th total victim of the Corona virus in Israel, who passed away Saturday afternoon, is 88-year-old Nelly Kravetz. This is a tenant who was transferred Wednesday, under the direction of the Ministry of Health, to the "Neot High School" geriatric center located in Jaffa.

Nellie was an anesthesiologist at Soroka Hospital, her husband was a family doctor and died in 2009. She left behind two sons and four grandchildren.
Her son, Micha, said his mother was a Holocaust survivor who immigrated to Israel in 73. Before retiring, she worked for years as an anesthesiologist in Soroka. Before her death, close family members were able to say goodbye to her. After the Ministry of Health decided to transfer it to the geriatric institution, the family members objected to its transfer, demanding hospitalization, but were answered by the Ministry of Health that there was no other option.
The deceased immigrated to Israel after the Yom Kippur War and was recognized by the authorities as a Holocaust survivor. In recent years, she was in the nursing department at Mashan, from where she was transferred to "Neot High School" in Jaffa. In this geriatric center, her condition began to deteriorate. She was transferred to Ichlikov Hospital, where she died.
According to her son, she was infected with the Maanan nursing home in Be'er Sheva, due to poor management of the occupants.
