When the girl brought the suspect to the garbage room, she was mistreated by the other party. The girl yelled for help and the suspect fled. Police searched the nearby CCTV and found that the suspect had "stepped on the line" in nearby shopping malls and buildings, and followed several other women into the building.

Senior Inspector Zhen Haoyan of the Kwun Tong Police District Crime Squad said that the incident occurred at about 8 pm on the last month when the 14-year-old girl returned to her home in Pingtian Village, Lantian. Later, the man followed the girl out of the floor, and she inquired about the location of the garbage room. The girl is not afraid of fraud and instructs the other party to go to the garbage room. In the meantime, the man was a rude girl. The girl called in shock and the man immediately fled.
The police serious case team took over the investigation and searched the nearby CCTV to lock the identity of the male suspect. The police also found that the male suspect had "stepped on the line", wandering around the nearby estate shopping malls and the building area, and followed several other women behind him and followed them into the building area.
At about 8:30 pm on Thursday (2nd), the police arrested a 25-year-old man named Xie in a private housing estate in Tai Wai. He was reported as a warehouseman and worked in the Lantian District. It is understood that the arrested man is suspected of being familiar with the environment around Lantian, so he committed crimes in the vicinity of the site. He was temporarily charged with 2 counts of loitering and 1 count of rudeness. He will appear in the Eastern Magistrates' Court next Monday (6th) morning.
