Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez has affirmed that unjust US sanctions imposed on his country constitute the primary impediment to obtaining medicines, equipment and materials to tackle the Corona epidemic.
In a tweet on Twitter, Rodriguez indicated that the new Corona virus showed the enormous restrictions imposed by the US economic embargo on Cuba, stressing that this embargo is also the main obstacle to development in the country.
Rodriguez had confirmed in his statements the day before yesterday that the Corona virus showed the world that the current US government poses a threat to humanity by giving priority to the elections and the desire to protect companies, which made Americans face this epidemic without adequate health care.
Cuba has been under unfair economic embargo by the United States for nearly 60 years because of its policies rejecting American exclusivity and hegemony.
