Johns Hopkins University of America has reported 1,480 deaths in the United States due to the Corona virus over the past 24 hours, in the worst count among all countries.
The French Press Agency quoted the university as saying that with the arrival of 1480 deaths between 8:30 pm local time Thursday and the same hour of Friday evening, the total number of deaths since the start of the epidemic in the United States is currently 7406 cases, while the number of confirmed cases of the epidemic reached 273 thousand and recovered 9500 cases.
The United States appears to be rapidly turning into a new epicenter of the epidemic.
The Johns Hopkins University announced yesterday that the death toll of the corona virus emerging in the United States amounted to 6586 deaths in addition to the infection of 258,814 cases.
According to White House figures, it is expected that "Coved 19" will kill between 100,000 and 240,000 people in the country.
