The Easter holiday program has been canceled due to the Corona crisis. However, some of the digiclub's technology camps still take place - in the form of online seminars.
Germering - The young supervisors of the Digiclub had big plans for the Easter holidays: altogether they wanted to bring girls and boys closer to the digital world with nine technology camps. The corona crisis has put a spanner in the works for them too.
However, the active Digiclub members didn't throw the shotgun in the grain. Spokeswoman Amelie Huber says that the club remains true to its name and, despite all restrictions, cannot be prevented from running its camps. The heads of the planned 3D workshop and app programming have developed a plan B and now want to convey content digitally.
The camps are now organized via the "Microsoft Teams" platform. This opens up the possibility that not only students can participate in the camps. According to the club, all ages are invited to use the free offer. All you need is a computer with internet access.
With instructions, you can program your own app from home and design and design a three-dimensional figure - without risk of infection. As in an ordinary camp, the supervisors are available for questions and explanations. The app can be used and shared immediately. As soon as the exit restrictions are lifted, the figures made by the 3D printers of the Digiclub can be picked up.
That's how it's done
Registration for the online courses on six dates is possible at www.digiclub-germering.de. The most important information about access and preparation of the camps is also available there.
