As the police reported, an emergency call came in at 2:45 p.m. A fisherman said that a green area with reeds surrounding it caught fire. On site, the fire department was able to bring the fire under control quickly, preventing the flames from spreading quickly. That was extremely important, because "the reeds are currently very dry and burn like tinder", said the Moosburg police.
Fire brigades from Moosburg and Inkofen had to deploy to the Amper on Sunday afternoon.

The cause of the fire is unclear
The Moosburg volunteer fire brigade was deployed with five vehicles and 23 forces, which were reinforced by the Inkofen fire brigade. The weirs from Plörnbach and Thonstetten had also been alerted, but could then move back. The cause of the fire is still unknown. ft
