US Army general disturbed by the rate of virus spread • "Corona competes in 9/11 attacks and Japanese attack in WWII" • 122,000 New York cases

"This is going to be the worst week since the Corona eruption in the United States" : US Army General General Jerome Adams said Sunday in an interview with Fox News.

According to Adams, the Corona competes in some of the darkest moments in our history, including the two foreign terrorist attacks on American soil: the Japanese bombings based on Pearl Harbor during World War II and the 9/11 terrorist attack.

The general also stressed that people and the US government, led by President Donald Trump, still "have the power to change the path of the epidemic" and that there is still hope that Americans will be able to evade the worst predictions if citizens meet social isolation guidelines.

He added: "This week is going to be tough, but there is a tunnel request light. As long as we all keep on preventive action in the coming month."

In an effort to ensure that citizens are kept at a distance, most U.S. governors have issued orders to stay in homes and restrict the departure from home to essential operations only. Nine governors opposed the move, prompting many to call on President Trump to issue sweeping orders to stay in homes for all Americans. General Adams opposed this move, saying the decision should be left by the governors.

New York: 122,000 new cases

Meanwhile, more than 122,000 new cases of infection were discovered in the last day, Governor Andrew Cuomo reported today. The number of deaths is 594, which raised the death toll to 4,159 people.

But in his case, Cuomo also held good news, saying that 75% of patients hospitalized had recovered and released to their homes, but added: "It is too early to know the meaning of the data."

Trudeau: "Collaborating with US in Corona War"

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Friday that "North American countries are in ongoing cooperation in fighting the Corona virus. Canadian medical professionals living on the US border work in US hospitals."

Most of the Corona cases are concentrated in the province of Quebec, and military and medical professionals make their way to the province to help residents. A total of 214 deaths have been reported in the country, and 13,000 are infected.
