Bac 2020: "With continuous monitoring, the rules are clear"

LE FIGARO. - What is the state of mind of families, after Jean-Michel Blanquer's announcements?

Hubert SALAÜN. - Families are reassured. There was no other solution than continuous monitoring. They are also relieved to know that the marks given during confinement will not be taken into account. The teachers were more or less benevolent ... Zeros were sometimes distributed when students were not present in the virtual classes. The Minister clarified that the courses, when they resume, will be held until July 4. The objective is that the students can work as long as possible. It is satisfactory for families who, every year, see high schools and colleges disrupted for fifteen days for the organization of the bac and the certificate. Today, they especially wonder how long this confinement will last, and fear that classes will not resume until September.
