Spain recorded a new and significant rise in the number of deaths from the emerging coronavirus, to 12,418 cases.
The Spanish Ministry of Health said today that 674 new deaths have been recorded, bringing the number of deaths in the virus to 12,418, while the number of infections rose to 130,759 from 12,4736 yesterday.
In Iran, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of 2,483 new infections and 151 deaths from the Corona virus during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of people infected to 58,226 cases and 3,603 deaths, while the number of people recovered reached 2,011 people.
In Russia, the operating room to deal with the Corona Virus today announced 658 new cases of the virus in 14 provinces, bringing the total number of infected people to 5,389 cases in 79 provinces, while the number of deaths rose to 45.
In Switzerland, the Ministry of Health announced that the number of deaths from the Corona virus increased 19 cases to 559, while the number of infections rose to 21,100 cases.
In turn, Malaysia announced that 179 new cases of coronavirus were recorded, bringing the total number of cases to 3662 cases, while the Philippine Ministry of Health said today that it recorded eight additional cases of corona virus and 152 new cases and that the total number of cases reached 3246 while the number of deaths increased to 152 status.
For its part, the Japanese Radio and Television Corporation, quoting officials in the capital Tokyo, said that the city witnessed more than 130 new cases of the new Corona virus, which is the largest number in one day so far, and to raise the number of confirmed cases to more than a thousand.
In turn, the Ministry of Health in Lithuania confirmed that the number of deaths due to the Corona virus increased to 11, to 811 cases, 7 of whom recovered, while the quarantine system was announced in the country until the 13th of April.
In Lebanon, the Ministry of Public Health announced that seven new infections were recorded with the Corona virus, bringing the number of laboratory-confirmed cases to 527, and a new death was recorded in the virus, bringing the number of deaths to date to 18.
The Ministry of Health of Oman announced that the number of deaths rose to two, and 21 new cases of coronavirus were recorded, raising the total number of cases registered in the Sultanate to 298.
In this context, the American University of Hopkins Research stated that while the Corona pandemic continues to sweep the entire world, there are still 17 countries completely free of this virus, 4 of them in Asia and 3 African countries, in addition to 10 countries in Oceania in the tropical Pacific Islands.
The League stated that the list of Asian countries includes Yemen, the DPRK, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, while the African countries are the Kingdom of Lesotho, Comoros, São Tome and Principe, while the list of Oceania countries included the Solomon Islands, the Republic of Nauru, the Republic of Vanuatu, the State of Samoa, the Republic of Kiribati, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Kingdom of Tonga, the Republic of the Marshall Islands and the Republic of Palau And the state of Tuvalu.
