New York State, the epicenter of the new coronavirus epidemic, has recorded 594 new deaths in 24 hours bringing the total number of victims to 4,159, according to statements by its Governor Andrew Cuomo.

Compared to the 630 new deaths recorded a day earlier, this sad balance is down slightly, but " it is still too early " to draw conclusions, added the Democratic governor.
