The sky is almost closed these days, and the global village has broken apart due to the Corona. But it turns out that there are those who just now decided to immigrate to Israel or join the IDF service with the help of the Nefesh B'Nefesh and the FIDF (US Friends of the United States and Panama) and in cooperation with the Ministry of Immigration and Immigration, Jewish Agency, JNF and JNF -USA, despite the virus and isolation it takes from those who come to Israel.

Zvi and Aviva Crawley arrived last week from the Corona's capital of the world these days, New York, straight to the isolation of their new home in Intelligence along with their children. When they arrived at the house, they found a particularly warm hug from the neighbors - who enlisted and put equipment at the door, doing duty, who brought them dinner.

"Doing an increase during an epidemic has never been part of the plan, probably not going straight to self-isolation with two small children, three weeks before Passover," Aviva says. "In Mind and Soul we offered to postpone the move for a better time, but we decided there was no perfect time to immigrate to Israel - if we are serious about it the time is now."

The two contacted a Facebook group called "Our Modi'in" for assistance with ordering supplies. "The response was amazing. Foreigners who never met us stood in line to help us. Meal train was planned for the first two weeks, made us order groceries, we received countless offers for toys and books for children and neighbors we never met, made sure to arrange the apartment in advance. "We live in Israel for only a few days and we haven't even moved through our front yard, we feel at home. Although our community was in chaos of its own in the whole situation, they simply found countless ways to give us help to get through our chaos," Aviva added.

Eden Uriel (19), a daughter of an Israeli father and an American mother always felt connected to the country. Last year she studied at the Pre-Military Preparatory Tavor. She was due to enlist yesterday, so she did not give up and despite the virus decided to come to Israel only a week ago. It is now in a special isolation compound assigned to soldiers on Olga Hill, which it entered, although not a full-fledged soldier, following a request for 'soul in the soul'. After the isolation, Eden plans to live with a family in Beit Ezra.

"Despite all the madness the world is experiencing with the Corona, coming to Israel to serve in the IDF is my duty," she says to "Israel Today." "I arrived in New York to isolate Israel in which I would begin military service. I am excited for the following challenges. For me, this is a mission, mission and the right to protect the Land of Israel and its citizens.

"In the shadow of the complex global circumstances of recent times, it is amazing to predict the continuation of the immigration process," notes Rabbi Joshua Fess, founder and CEO of Nefesh B'Nefesh. "These new immigrants represent the strong future of the State of Israel. They come here full of determination to fulfill their Zionist dream. To life in the Land of Israel We are committed to assisting them throughout the immigration process with a view to being able to settle into their new homes as comfortably and smoothly as possible during this challenging period.
