"It's the holidays, the weather is fine, don't give in to temptation, stay at home as much as possible ," Valérie Pécresse told BFMTV, while the sun raised fears of loosening while respecting containment measures to stem the Covid-19 epidemic. Île-de-France is one of the regions most severely affected by the epidemic. According to the Directorate General of Health, more than 11,200 people are hospitalized there.

"The situation remains very tense in Île-de-France, our health system is completely saturated, we continue to transfer patients," explained the president of the region. "The caregivers pushed the walls, nevertheless, we have to help them, and to help them we have to respect the confinement," she said.
