Psychiatry, Law - and the Left

1 The Supreme Court, headed by President Esther Hayim, came out battered and battered in his desire to shape politics in his image, while pushing and trampling on the general will to materialize. Unsurprisingly, the petition against Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein also led Avichai Mandelblit, the Attorney General, to jump from his skin and name himself as a respondent to the petition, although he was not asked to comment at all. This was to advance Edelstein's removal from office. The Legislature, at the Supreme Court's door, for a few more days to make the connections that were made to a stable government that would take Israel out of the political crisis, came up with a sharp and well-reasoned ruling that became irrelevant even before the ink dried on its pages. And little listening was heard over the judge's booth.

Avigdor Feldman, the distinguished lawyer, ruthlessly stated that the High Court's ruling on Edelstein's case should be called "dumb democracy." Very interesting. Esther Beasts is indeed "our president, of the Tel Avivs fighting like tigers." Now discussing whether or not Yuli Edelstein will resign, or rival Levin will replace him. What then will the speckled prey animals say when 80 Knesset members support them? So will the Knesset hunt their prey en masse?

2 Professor Yoram Yuval also returns to the tune that has been neglected, and as if unintentionally, the demon is leaving you. At a mass demonstration in Habima Square in Tel Aviv in September 2019, the renowned psychiatrist in public proclaimed to hundreds of supporters who thirstily uttered: "Believe me, I have been hospitalizing people for less than I have heard some of the extreme right-wingers say lately." A few days ago, again, on the basis of his professional weight, he was admitted to a psychiatric hospital by Jacob Litzman, Minister of Health, that: "Litzman says that we will save the Messiah from the Corona, as a lesser psychiatrist."

It is interesting under what section the doctor would forcefully hospitalize and inject these "patients" until they state that they fit their religious or political views in his medical opinion. Was the medical section for rescuing "the sick" a "inflexibility of conviction" that expresses a slow schizophrenia that creeps in and dominates the patient's mind? Oops, this is the same section with which Soviet psychiatry is trapped behind bars and smuggled opponents to the "Sun of Nations" and the Communist system, which has known the way to solve the world's ills. From 1967 to 1987, the Soviet government arrested more than two million citizens who were diagnosed by psychiatrists imprisoned for their political positions, and forced upon them. No one ever supervised the process, no one prosecuted them for their medical ethics.

What an outlet the respected doctor for the left's plight in Israel has revealed to us. In his days of correction, he is compassionate and empathetic to those who resemble him, and now is the time to roll up his sleeves and forcibly hospitalize the right-wing voters, those ultra-Orthodox, settlers, Mizrahi and Ashkenazi - dumb, as mentioned - who were found to be the best in his professional recognition. What a wonderful new world is opening up for us.
