An unknown man used the beach volleyball field in Röhrmoos last Thursday and stole sand.
Röhrmoos - Strange things were shown on Thursday afternoon at the sports area in Röhrmoos: Around 4:30 p.m., the driver of a black station wagon with a silver roof rail drove along a dirt road to the edge of the Röhrmoos sports area. There the man, who was obviously accompanied by his little daughter, filled sand into a box from the beach volleyball field, loaded the sand into the car and then drove off towards Röhrmoos.
The chairman of SpVgg Röhrmoos, Günter Bakomenko, sees it with a kind of gallows humor: Apparently his daughter's urge to play and the corona-related closure of the hardware stores had caused the man to take this “act of despair”.
The Röhrmooser SpVgg boss now takes this incident as an opportunity to provide all schoolchildren who are on forced vacation with a small arithmetic task: a man takes a box of 25 liters of sand from a beach volleyball field. How many of these boxes does he have to fill so that he can fill his home sandpit with 250 liters?
Günter Bakomenko has modified the task somewhat for larger children: How many boxes with 25 liters of sand can be removed if the beach volleyball field holds a total of 5000 liters of sand?
