Czech public television announced on Monday the next shoot of a coronavirus pandemic sitcom, which it plans to start broadcasting later this month. " One house, three generations and the global pandemic ," says the trailer for this six-episode series posted on the public television web page.

Named " Love in the times of corona ", an allusion to the novel by Gabriel Garcia Marquez " Love in the times of cholera ", the series will be filmed in an apartment building in Prague from April 14 and broadcast from April 27.
Her heroes are a teenager, whose parents are stranded abroad due to the pandemic, an elderly man who has to fend for himself, his wife being held outside their city, and a young married couple, whose relationships are tested by confinement, television said.
She invited viewers to send her quarantine anecdotes, adding that the authors have so far only written the first episode. " We only have one screenplay and we will need some help, " said producer Tomas Baldynsky. To comply with strict anti-virus security measures, the sitcom will be filmed by remote-controlled cameras and only the actors will be physically present on stage.
The Czech Republic counted until Monday 4591 cases of contamination, including 72 deaths. The country has closed borders and most shops, restaurants and bars, cinemas and theaters. All citizens must wear face masks in public space and gatherings of more than two people are prohibited.
