The Governorate of Damascus has started works of asphalting a number of streets and neighborhoods of the city and restoring the damaged asphalt with the aim of improving the service reality of the roads.

Maintenance director in Damascus Governorate, Engineer Muhammad Hamamiyya, stated that the directorate’s workshops started the works of asphalting the street that extends from Bab Musalla Square to the intersection of Khaled Bin Al Waleed Street, with an area of ​​about 4400 square meters, and with an asphalt amount of 650 tons.

Hamamiyeh explained that the workshops had asphalted sections on the Mazzeh Highway, where they worked on scraping and damaging the damaged asphalt, starting from the Syrian Telecom Company towards the College of Arts, and the parking garage that was implemented alongside the Mouwasat Hospital in Mazzeh was confirmed, stressing that the asphalting works are carried out according to the available capabilities.
