Emmeringer boys and girls help in emergencies

Neighborhood aid is experiencing a renaissance during the corona pandemic. In every municipality, more and more associations and private individuals are offering their help with errands or with the trip to the pharmacy or doctors.

Emmering - The Madlverein and the Guschenverein Emmering don't want to be left behind. They especially want to help people who belong to the risk group. They also offer shopping in the supermarket or in the pharmacy. The volunteers would also go for a walk with the dog.

This is how the help offered by the two clubs works: You can contact the helpers from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. by phone (0174) 2 79 12 11 or by email to wirhelfenemmering @ gmx.de . Help seekers should then provide their name, address, concern and telephone number for any queries. If no one can be reached on the phone number, the request for help can also be submitted by SMS.

The boys and girls are always available for relief missions on Wednesday afternoons, all day on Saturdays and on Sundays by arrangement. When making purchases, the helpers ask you to prepare a shopping basket with enough money and a detailed shopping list (also with preferred brands). If desired, the basket and money can also be handed over without contact. Then only the time and place of collection have to be determined.

When all the shopping is done, the shopping basket is delivered back to the front door. In addition to the order, those seeking help will of course also receive the invoice and the remaining money.
