"Basically, we, the adult education centers in Erding and Munich-Southeast, are currently doing the complete VHS program for half of the republic and large cities like Cologne, Stuttgart, Berlin and Zurich," says Lüdenbach. The project is now even taking on European dimensions. “We now have educational institutions from Austria, Italy, France and Switzerland with us. That is also very important to me because I want a cross-border discourse and not always just the German perspective that we already know, ”says the managing director.
The virtual university is also economically lucrative for the VHS Erding because the connected institutions pay an average of 300 euros per partnership. Lüdenbach noticed that many of the technology and experience were lacking. In Erding, Internet transmission has been practiced for some time. The Erdinger themselves make extensive use of this.
