The Israeli embassy in the state has obtained entry visas for families who have performed surrogacy, and should now fly to births that are expected soon.

The Israeli Embassy in Georgia, led by Ambassador Ran Gidor, succeeded, after much effort, in getting the Georgia government's consent to allow Israeli families, including 15 Israeli citizens, to enter Georgia territory to be present at the birth of their son / home.

These are babies that have been created in surrogacy, and are expected to be born by the end of April.

The embassy said they were continuing to work to ensure the arrival of more families carrying out the surrogacy process over the next few months.

The affair was first published in News 12, when it became clear that Israeli couples had a problem following the Corona crisis, as they are now unable to fly to foreign countries where they have performed surrogacy in order to be present at the birth of their son and / or daughter. As a result, the Foreign Ministry began to exert pressure to enable Israelis to travel to different countries.
