The number of deaths from the emerging coronavirus in the United States today exceeded the threshold of ten thousand cases since the outbreak in late January.

In turn, the governor of New York State, Andrew Como, extended the comprehensive closure in the state, which is the epicenter of the outbreak of the new Corona virus in the United States until the end of this month.

The closure of schools and non-essential businesses will be extended until April 29, Como said, adding that "the current time is not appropriate for complacency."

According to Como, fines will be raised for any violation of the guidelines related to social divergence from $ 500 to $ 1,000.

On the other hand, US Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers postponed the Democratic primary to choose the party's candidate for the presidential elections and any other elections until next June due to the outbreak of the Corona virus.

Evers considered that conducting the elections as scheduled on Tuesday in the state in the Midwest would expose polling station staff and voters to a high risk of contracting the virus.

The United States is now ranked first in the world in terms of the number of new infections of the Coronavirus.
