Hundreds of queries have been received before the program begins

The Science and Technology Bureau said that the Government entrusted the Productivity Bureau to provide technical consultancy services to organizations interested in manufacturing masks locally. Before the plan began, hundreds of inquiries have been received. However, because the inquiries involved commercial information, the details of the relevant organizations could not be disclosed.

The Bureau said that as of March 26 this year, the Productivity Bureau has received 103 applications, of which 7 applications (involving 8 production lines) have been approved for funding. It is expected that each production line can supply 800,000 to 2.25 million masks per month Not equal.

Stopped accepting applications

The authorities said that the government expects that the number of eligible production lines is likely to have exceeded the remaining amount of subsidies, so the Productivity Bureau has stopped accepting applications from March 27.

R & D reusable masks must consider the supply of raw materials

Regarding the epidemic prevention fund, 800 million yuan was set aside for the Innovation and Technology Agency to develop reusable masks. The Bureau said that in assessing the feasibility of the program, important considerations include whether the mask has passed relevant tests, the supply of raw materials and whether it can be used in the short term For large-scale production, the authorities will announce relevant details in due course.

The bureau added that the financial impact of the applied science and technology program related to reusable masks will be borne by the Epidemic Prevention Fund.
