The daily number of deaths from the new coronavirus in Spain increased for the first time in five days, with 743 deaths reported Tuesday for a total of 13,798.

Spain had reported the day before of 637 additional deaths in the previous 24 hours. The total number of cases of contamination in the country was Tuesday at 140,510 against 135,032 Monday, announced the Ministry of Health.
