Parts of a house in Eurasburg were robbed of flames in the late Sunday afternoon. The police estimate the damage at around 300,000 euros.
Eurasburg - A local resident reported heavy smoke development from the apartment building on Höhenweg around 4:15 p.m., reports the police. When the emergency services arrived on site, the first floor and the attic were already in full fire. According to district fire inspector Erich Zengerle, 96 firefighters, including 32 respirators, fought the flames. The residents were able to escape outside in good time so that no one was injured.
The weirs from Eurasburg, Beuerberg, Herrnhausen, Degerndorf, Holzhausen, Wolfratshausen and Geretsried as well as police and BRK were used. Eurasburg Mayor Moritz Sappl was also there. The mission was only over at 9:30 p.m.
The Eurasburger fire brigade checked the location of the fire at night. On Monday morning, she was alarmed again because smoke plumes rose again from the house. After about an hour of extinguishing work, the emergency services were able to move again.
The house is initially uninhabitable, the residents stayed with relatives. The criminal detention service of the Kripo Weilheim took over the first on-site investigations into the cause of the fire. "According to the current status, the investigators assume a technical defect," said the police. "There are no indications of arson."
