The toughening of regulations to prevent the spread of the Corona also did not stop Major Alex, commander of the Land Services Division at Ramat David base, and his beloved on the way to the canopy.
"Initially, they said events could be held for up to 100 people, and we planned to get married in a limited-size event hall," Major Alex said. "Then they announced that all events were canceled, and yet we decided we were staying true to the date we decided to marry.
The loving couple clung to the decision to marry even after stricter restrictions on public space movement and banning the congregation. But the day before the wedding, one significant question remains about the event - will a rabbi be found to be revamped?
"My wife cried and asked me 'Are we getting married tomorrow? Do we have at least a lot?'", Repeated Alex. "I told her, 'Don't worry, the only thing that's certain about our wedding is that we have a rabbi.' Whoever married us is the great Ronnie of the base, who has been with us all along."
After the wedding, the two traveled around the base in a "bride-groom" vehicle and updated their acquaintances about their fresh marriage. The happy couple was applauded by everyone watching from afar.
"It did people a good heart to see a happy moment of starting a family together, especially at times like this, when a virus is going around the world and there is chaos," Major Alex added.
