Woman fatally stabbed in Paris: her ex-boyfriend indicted

The former companion of the woman fatally stabbed last week in Paris was indicted and placed in pre-trial detention Monday, April 6. The 34-year-old victim, of Polish origin, was discovered very seriously stabbed in a building in the 17th arrondissement of the capital, on the night of Wednesday to Thursday.

Cries and rumors of argument had alerted neighbors, and the woman, very seriously stabbed in the abdomen, had been transported to Pompidou hospital where she died during the night. The suspect, who admitted the facts, was charged with "spousal murder" and "crime scene modification", and imprisoned.
