Many people on board belong to the Covid 19 risk group

"We found a ship here that infected almost everyone," Karina Rando, one of 21 Uruguayan doctors who were sent on the cruise ship to help, told The Guardian portal. Most passengers are doing well, many are asymptomatic , but this does not reduce the risk of contracting the corona virus. "We did our utmost to avoid infecting ourselves," said Rando.

Many of the patients were over 70 years old and suffered from chronic conditions such as heart and lung diseases . "These patients can become seriously ill tomorrow, even if they still look good today," said the doctor.
