(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 9 - The text of the decree law approved on April 6th in the Council of Ministers containing the "Urgent measures on the regular conclusion and the orderly start of the school year and on the conduct of the exams "State. The provision is effective from today. The measures contained in the decree published in the Official Gazette: * First grade secondary school The decree provides that the Ministry may, with a specific provision, modify the examination system. If it is possible to do it in the presence, it can be simplified. Otherwise we will proceed with the final evaluation by the class council, providing for the delivery of a paper by the students. In each case there will be a serious evaluation corresponding to the pupils' commitment. * Second grade secondary school 96% of children are admitted, on average, every year to the final exam. This year they will still have the opportunity to take the tests, taking into account the emergency period. But the access credits for class V and the final grade will still be based on the commitment of the whole year. The decree then indicates a double possibility.
If the children can return to school by May 18, there will be an exam with an internal commission. The first test, Italian, will be prepared by the Ministry. The second, the different one for each address, will be prepared by the commissions. Then cisarà the oral. If you do not go back to school, an oral interview is scheduled. There remains the need to reach at least the score of 60/100 to obtain the diploma. * Admission to the following year The decree provides that everyone can be admitted to the following year, but all will be evaluated, during the final ballots, according to the commitment. There will be no '6 political'. The mechanism of debts in secondary school for the second year is 'frozen'. At the beginning of September, in fact, instead of the usual courses of recovery of insufficiencies, it will be possible, for all education cycles, from primary to fourth grade of the second level, to recover and integrate the learning: what has not been learned, or partially learned year, it can be recovered / deepened at the beginning of the next. Particular attention will be paid to children with disabilities and those with special educational needs. * Start of the new year The decree allows you to work immediately on the new school year too, giving the Ministry the tools to operate quickly and to connect, for example, with the Regions to standardize the election start calendar. During the Council of Ministers of 6 April, a measure was also approved which releases the assumptions requested by the Ministry of Education to recover part of the seats freed, in the summer of 2019, from retirements due to 'Quota 100'. These are 4,500 places that will go to as many teachers, competition winners or present in the exhaustion lists, who had not been able to occupy them last September because they had not been made available.
