The Director of the British National Health Authority, Stephen Boyce, considered today that the fight against the emerging coronavirus will take a long-term course, considering that raising the general isolation procedures may include drugs, not just vaccines.
"Vaccines are not the only exit strategy from the state of general isolation," Reuters news agency quoted Boyce as saying in a statement, adding that there is no magic solution that does not require difficult decisions, and it will not be a short race that takes a few weeks, but will be longer, it will be a long-term race.
In another context, British Home Secretary Priti Patel announced that Prime Minister Boris Johnson needs time to recover from the Coronavirus, explaining that Johnson spent three nights in intensive care and used a respirator.
Patel expressed regret that health workers in the country felt that they had failed to obtain personal protective equipment while they were fighting the Coronavirus.
In Britain, the health authorities announced the registration of 917 new deaths from the Corona virus, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 9875 cases, and the number of cases in Britain is close to 80 thousand.
