United States continues to break tragic highs daily in number of dead, and is expected to cross Italy today with the victims of the virus • New York governor: "Cautious optimism due to declining hospitalization" • Number of global infected also climbs to 1.7 million

The number of deaths in the United States continues to rise, with more than 2,000 deaths in the last day. The total death toll in the country stands at 18,747 people, which is expected to be the closest day to go through Italy, with the highest death toll at 18,849.

In all, US President Donald Trump has instructed US government officials to help Italy fight the Cornea virus through medical supplies, humanitarian measures and other assistance such as setting up field hospitals in the country. Even though states in the United States do not have enough equipment to fight the virus, and as already noted, The U.S. is likely to cross Italy in the number of dead in the next few hours.

The number of infections worldwide is nearly 1,700,000 this morning, and when the death toll passed the 100,000th yesterday, it now stands at 102,734 people lost to the plague.

New York state governor Andrew Cuomo yesterday expressed cautious optimism, due to a decline in the number of new inpatients in the state. In a daily media briefing, Cuomo said: "For the first time, the number of new intensive care patients is lower than the previous day. There is cautious optimism about the decline in the number of new patients."

UK: A record 980 dead a day

In the United Kingdom, optimism did not register as the number of plague victims reached a new record of 980 dead in one day. The number of patients diagnosed in the UK is 73,758, with about 8,000 new cases diagnosed every day.

Meanwhile, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has begun the long process of rehabilitation of the Corona disease and it is unclear when he will be able to return to his post, Prime Minister Weber said at a press conference on the issue.

The spokesman, James Slack, said Johnson was fully conscious and waved at the doctors as he was taken out of intensive care. When asked by the reporters whether the prime minister waved a spell he could not speak, the spokesman replied: "The prime minister is known for nonverbal gestures and I am sure that is the case in this case."

Slack went on to say: "He is in a very good mood. He is just at the beginning of the recovery process and he will hear every step to his medical team. The prime minister has received incredible medical care and is very pleased to thank everyone who took part in it." Slack also added that Johnson had gone a bit with the help of the medical staff as part of the treatment and recovery process.

Also in France, the epidemic does not seem to be slowing down with the number of dead being similar to the UK every day. The total number of victims in France in the last day was almost one thousand and was 987. Almost 125,000 were diagnosed with the virus.

Meanwhile, in Italy and Spain, there is a continuing improvement in the number of infected and dead. The number of deaths in Italy was 570 in the last day, and in Spain 634, when the number of victims in those countries exceeded the 900 and over.
