There is no doubt that the most difficult battlefield of the Corona in Israel takes place in nursing homes. Every day we hear about more and more people who are deceased and are exposed to the proportions of morbidity in these institutions.
MK Meirav Cohen (Blue and White) addressed the Corona Committee at the Knesset Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Health, Prof. Itamar Grotto, on Thursday, saying: "There are 35 institutions in which there is an epidemic. How do you get everyone involved? From place to place and put the virus? "
Prof. Grotto replied: "Workers need to work in one institution. We have found solutions to the issue of wages. Only they will not move from one place to another. Tests.

The tragedy of nursing homes reaches all over the country. Jerusalem was the first focal point where the Corona struck - in the Jerusalem nursing home "Nofim", which three of its occupants died after contracting the virus.
In the southern sector there is the "Mishan" nursing home in Be'er Sheva, which has so far passed away 14 of its occupants - the highest figure in the entire country. At the same time, 29 occupants were infected with the Corona Beit Zahavit geriatric center in Ashkelon.
Bnei Brak is known as one of the largest morbidity centers in Israel. In the city there are four nursing homes where many cases of corona infection have been discovered, the most notable of which is the Ateret nursing home where over 20 patients have been diagnosed. So far, one corona patient has been found in the Maanan Ramat Efal nursing home.

Meanwhile, the Rehovot Municipality announced that it has reached an agreement with the Weizmann Institute on the implementation of about a thousand tests in nursing homes throughout the city, with emphasis on hospitalized and long-term residents and the elderly. The summary was reached between Mayor Rahamim Malul and the institute's president, Prof. Alon Chen. Malul's request to conduct the tests came after three occupants of the Neve Amit geriatric institution were diagnosed with a virus on Passover Eve.
At the Beit Hadar geriatric institution in Ashdod, 22 cases of virus infection were found on the holiday evening. Eight contractors were evacuated to Assuta Hospital and three to Kaplan on the streets, from where they were reportedly severely ill-treated and breathing. Another occupant was transferred to Sheba Hospital and his condition was severe.
The Department of Health started 600 corona tests earlier this week for residents and all staff at the institution. However, the results of 180 tests have not yet been found and there is concern among the staff of the institution that they have been lost. The results of the other tests come in stages.
So far, 14 cases have been discovered at the Beit Balav institution in Bat Yam. One 84-year-old tenant who was admitted to Wolfson earlier this week died during Passover Monday. The hospital is home to four other residents from nursing homes in Holon and Bat Yam, and their condition is difficult.
To date, two workers and four occupants have been infected at Holon's Mishan Institute in Holon. They are admitted to Wolfson Hospital. The condition of one of them is difficult to define.
Ten Bulgarian nursing homes in Rishon Lezion had infected ten residents in Corona, and three of the patients died at Assaf Harofe Hospital.
Eight residents of Lebanese geriatric institution in Rishon Lezion have also been infected in Corona, two of them in serious condition. All are hospitalized in the area, with the exception of two transferred to a geriatric institution in Jaffa.
At the "Moriah Leaf" institution in the gedera where people with various developmental problems reside, 15 residents have so far been infected. One, 41, died on the holiday evening at Kaplan Hospital.
In the north of the country, 12 elderly people from the luxury nursing home in Yavneel died from Corona. Out of 135 tenants, only 50 seniors remain, who are being treated by replacement teams for the dozens of employees who were found to be positive for Corona. The rest of the elderly were transferred to designated places for elderly Corona patients in Pardes Hanna, Netanya and Tel Aviv. Last Friday, another elderly woman from the nursing home died in the landscape of Tiberias in Tiberias. All the deceased in the Upper Galilee and the valleys were sheltered in the nursing homes in the area.
Four of the 97, 96 93 and 91 elderly women aged 97, 96 93 and 91 who came from the "Masonic" nursing home in Nahariya after recovering from Corona were recently released and returned to the nursing home after recovering from their illness.
