According to the police, the incident happened around 5.45 p.m. In front of the radar car parked at the edge of the lane, the driver really accelerated again and accelerated to 120 at an allowed speed of 50 km / h. Because of the foreign registration number, the occupants apparently believed that they could not be prosecuted. So they were wrong.
The driver continued towards A8. The officers alerted a patrol by the highway police. The patrol could only put the driver on the A99 - "after he had also demonstrated his tendency to high speeds", as the press release says.

During the check, the officials found that all four occupants of the car had made an exit to Lake Tegernsee for no good reason and thus violated the Infection Protection Ordinance. In addition to exceeding the speed limit, they received administrative offense reports. The driver living in Germany is expected to pay a fine of 960 euros and a three-month driving ban simply because of the deliberate violation.
It will not remain because of the ruthlessness expressed by the massive speeding. The APS Holzkirchen is of the opinion that the frenzy has fulfilled the criteria for an illegal race. The process is also relevant to registration and taxation because the owner living in Germany has not registered the used vehicle in Germany.
