It has not been a day since Holocaust Remembrance Day, and in Germany two anti-Semitic graffiti against Jews were revealed today, as well as a call to kill foreign asylum seekers. The inscriptions were uncovered in Heidelberg, a peaceful university town located in southwestern Germany, near the border with France.
One address that was sprayed on a building in the city reads: "Jewish Angela Merkel", and around the address also swastikas were sprayed, plus the address: "Asylum seekers to kill in gas - cyclone B". On another building in a city of about 160,000, it reads: "Jews of Zion-death."
Jacob Haguel, Deputy and Chairman of the World Zionist Organization, said: "In the past year we have witnessed the lifting of neo-Nazis in Germany in particular and in Europe in general. We are witnessing for the last time some years in the face of anti-Semitic addresses that could lead to violence and murder of Jews around the world. "We are working all over the world to eradicate this anti-Semitism, but unfortunately there are governments that do not invest enough in the issue. Anti-Semitism must stop here and now.
