In the midst of the increase in circulation in recent days, after the reactivation of some activities despite the continuation of the mandatory isolation due to the coronavirus, the Buenos Aires government will enable more accesses to the City of Buenos Aires to speed up vehicular traffic .

The measure, which will take effect on Thursday, April 23, includes other modifications to the circulation scheme, such as the redirection of public transport or loads to specific points and the implementation of schedules only for vehicular entry.

As Clarín anticipated from the Buenos Aires Ministry of Justice and Security, the changes imply the opening of some of the accesses that were closed since last March 25.

General Paz and Libertador access, for example, will be enabled for the general entry of vehicles. The semi-enabled steps, reserved for health, security or public transport or cargo personnel, will go from 20 to 24.

Thus, of the 111 total accesses to the City, 14 will be enabled, 24 semi-enabled, there will be 26 pedestrian bridges and 47 will remain closed.
