Europe works on an economic recovery plan

The European Council meets remotely to start a generic outline of what would be a roadmap to relaunch the European economy once the covid-19 pandemic has been overcome. The plan proposed by Spain for this would include a recovery fund to help the most affected countries and would range between 1 and 1.5 trillion euros. The Spanish Government suggests that the plan be financed with the issuance of perpetual debt from the European Union itself.
