On the 105th anniversary of the Armenian genocide ... a humanitarian crime awaiting justice

Horrific crimes described as the worst against humanity committed by the thugs of the Ottoman Empire against the Armenians more than a hundred years ago, the painful memory of which has persisted for decades and pursues successive Turkish governments despite their attempts to suppress the truth and deny documented historical facts.

Horrific racist crimes and massacres committed by the Ottomans against the Armenian people, which tomorrow commemorates its 105th anniversary, to bear witness to the lives of more than a million and a half million people who have died and permanent evidence of an unprecedented crime against humanity.

The massacres that continued between 1915 and 1923 were accompanied by arrests, executions, displacements, confiscation of property and burning of Armenian cities and villages. The crimes were not limited to one massacre, but to two massacres followed by genocide, considered the worst in history.

The Armenian people by commemorating the 105th anniversary of the Ottoman genocide, it reaffirms its adherence to the principle of achieving justice for the lives of the victims, even if it is through international recognition of these crimes. Unanimously condemns the genocide against the Armenians while Armenian communities around the world continue to campaign for the recognition of the crimes of the Ottomans.

The way to commemorate the Ottoman genocide of the Armenians will be different this year due to the outbreak of the Coruna virus, and Armenia will honor the memory of the victims by extinguishing street lights and houses all over the country and ringing the church bells.

Successive Turkish governments deny the crimes of the Ottoman genocide and promote the idea that they are unfortunate events outside the control of the Ottoman Empire at that time no longer fools the world public opinion and despite continued attempts to cover up these crimes and refuse to recognize the Turkish perpetration, but history and its facts remain and documented and repeat themselves in the brutal practices that The Turkish regime is currently committing it against the Syrians through aggression that traveled on their lands, thus completing the crimes of its Ottoman grandparents, who are awaiting justice and cannot be subject to statute of limitations.

Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Manatsakanian said that "the struggle for recognition of the Armenian genocide and justice was and will remain a priority in Armenia's foreign policy."
