Cairo-Sana
Mohsen Attia, member of the political bureau of the former Egyptian parliamentary party, denounced the unilateral coercive economic measures imposed by Western countries, particularly the United States, on Syria, calling for their immediate lifting.
Attia said in a statement to a SANA correspondent in Cairo that Washington and the European Union countries pursue criminal policies against Syria stemming from the colonial nature aspiring to dominate and implement the partition plans they want, pointing out that these countries refuse to acknowledge their defeat before the successive Syrian victories against terrorism, which does not change the reality of these Great victories.
Attia stressed that in light of the outbreak of the Corona epidemic, it is necessary to unite and leave political ambitions, and for Washington and the European Union to retreat from the policies of the economic blockade imposed on Syria.
He said that combating Corona requires a humanitarian pause and that the countries that fought Syria for 10 years work to lift their unjust blockade so that the Syrian state can confront the Corona pandemic and provide medical equipment and all requirements for prevention and treatment.
