The French Director General of Health, Jerome Salomon, announced today that it recorded 389 additional deaths within 24 hours in France due to the Corona virus, noting that the virus caused the death of 22,245 people in total in the country.
The French Press Agency quoted Salomon as saying in his daily statement to reporters that the epidemic caused the death of 13,852 people in hospitals, an increase of 305 deaths within 24 hours and 8393 people in nursing homes and other medical and social institutions, an increase of 84 deaths from yesterday.
The previous toll in France yesterday indicated that 21,856 deaths were recorded as a result of the virus.
