(CNN Spanish) - An earthquake of magnitude 5.5 shook the Pacific coast of Mexico and Guatemala this Thursday, according to reports from the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
The seismic focus was located 35 km deep and the epicenter was located 114.8 kilometers northeast of Puerto Madero, Chiapas, and 132.8 kilometers northeast of Tecún Umán, Guatemala.
