Expelled during the Scotland-France Tournament meeting on March 8 for a punch on the second line of the XV at the Chardon Jamie Ritchie, Mohamed Haouas had been suspended for three weeks. Good news for the Montpellier player: he served this penalty during confinement when no meeting could be disputed. The French Rugby Federation confirmed this Saturday in a press release that the international will be able to replay "as soon as the sporting season resumes".

Identical spells for the Englishman Joe Marler (suspended for ten weeks after touching the genitals of Welshman Alun Wyn Jones) and Manu Tuilagi (suspended four weeks for a dangerous tackle), who will not suffer any consequences from these sanctions on their calendar. The Times  has announced that the Harlequins mainstay and central Leicester will take advantage of the coronavirus crisis and the break in competition to return to the field without missing a game.
