A perfect fringe despite the confinement: the German police discovered on Saturday two hairdressing salons installed in cellars in Bavaria.

When the agents arrived, " people were having their hair done " in the cellars of " two private houses " in the northwest of this regional state, local police said in a statement. Two people were waiting for a cut in Elsenfeld and one in a cellar in Mömlingen, according to the German press agency DPA, which adds that " the lounges were professionally equipped ". Investigations for non-compliance with the containment measures have been opened, police said.

In Bavaria, the rules put in place at the end of March to slow the spread of the new coronavirus are among the strictest in Germany and leaving the home without " valid reason " is punishable by a fine of 150 euros. Hairdressers, closed like other businesses deemed non-essential, must reopen from May 4 in this country respecting certain health precautions, as part of a gradual deconfinement.

Elsewhere, the pandemic, which forces half of humanity to remain cloistered at home, will continue to wreak havoc in aesthetics, for lack of access to professionals.
