The Syrian Foundation for Bakeries, Aleppo branch, placed a bakery in the town of Huritan in the governorate countryside, with a production capacity of five tons of bread per day.
Eng. Jihad Al-Samman, Director of the Foundation’s Branch, stated in a statement to a SANA reporter that the bakery will meet the needs of the residents of Huritan and the neighboring villages from bread after its liberation from terrorism, pointing to the institution’s endeavor to increase the production capacity of the bakery in the event of increased demand for bread.
Al-Samman pointed out that by putting this bakery into service, the number of production lines for ovens in Aleppo Governorate has become 31 lines and a production capacity of 310 tons per day.
The bakery supervisor, Youssef Al-Bakri, said that the opening of the bakery constitutes an urgent need for the people who started returning to their homes after they were displaced by terrorism and its production will meet the need of the town and the neighboring villages, which reduces the burden on the bakeries in Aleppo, pointing out that the production of bread is carried out according to the precautionary measures to address the Corona virus where it is wearing Workers gags and gloves.
SANA's camera monitored the opinions of a number of families who flocked to the bakery to buy bread after being deprived of it for years, expressing their thanks for putting the bakery in production and restarting it, indicating that this saved them a lot of suffering by obtaining their daily needs of bread easily and easily.
