Steinhöring - The fire broke out on Saturday, April 25, at 4.45 p.m. on an agricultural estate in the center of Steinhöring. A warehouse burned down. The animals that were housed in the neighboring stable, eight bulls, could be evacuated. Some were short-sided, but were caught by local helpers.
Steinhöring's fire department commander, Anton Höfer, was in charge of operations. He coordinated the extensive fire-fighting work that continued into the evening. The fire departments Steinhöring, Ebersberg, Tulling, Oberndorf, St. Christoph Frauenneuharting, Grafing and Hohenlinden were in action. According to district fire councilor Andreas Heiß, Grafing requested a second aerial ladder, and Frauenneuharting and Hohenlinden respiratory protection wearers.
The cause of the fire has not yet been clarified, and investigators of the Kripo are expected at the site. The incendiary material is brought to a storage location outside the village due to the strong smoke development
