The government is expected to discuss further easing of the economy

The government's debate about bringing the education system back into operation: Millions of parents are eyeing the most significant debate for them - reopening schools nationwide. According to the Ministry of Education's plan, the goal is that on Sunday, May 3, elementary and kindergarten students (grades 6-3) will return to classrooms.

As part of the program, all first and third graders will return to study but will do so in small groups. Each class will be divided into several groups and learning will be done in different spaces throughout the school. Because fourth and sixth graders do not return to study at this time, there will be empty classrooms - where the groups can be placed. Learning will take place Sunday through Thursday, and breaks will be at different times to avoid yard meetings.

The significant problem is in kindergartens, where groups are more difficult to separate because there are not enough structures. According to the program, the students will be divided into two groups in each preschool: one will teach in the preschool structure for half a week, and the other - in distance learning. The Ministry of Education also intends to run the preschools in the kindergartens and hold the school by 4 p.m.

Since the Corona virus survives on surfaces, the Ministry of Education is debating what to do in case a student gets sick at school. In addition, an extension will be enrolled back to the special education students' schools, so that the number of students in the classroom will increase.

And what about the high school students who are supposed to go to matriculation in about two months? According to the Ministry of Education's plan, grades 11-12 will return to marathons starting May 15 for exams beginning in mid-June. The intention is to focus on the populations of students with difficulty.

In the meantime, the management teams will return to the schools tomorrow. These are teams that include only the school principal, deputy principal, bookkeeping, and housekeeper only. These will address various educational tasks, including preparing for a gradual return of the education system to routine.

According to the guidelines, the schools are expected to meet the "purple character" standard and appoint a corona manager whose job is to measure the rest of the staff, sign them to the health statement for symptoms, and make sure they are wearing masks. However, it is unknown where the thermometers will come to the schools. As published in "Israel Today," the Ministry of Education is considering signing parents a declaration that students will come to healthy educational institutions - without heat or breathing difficulties.
