Spain, Italy, UK and France continue to update on data improvement • And also: Strategic exit from the countries crisis and when will schools open?

In the UK, the figures are higher with 413 victims in the last day, which indicates a trend of curvature flattening with 400 deaths in one day. 

These figures are published against the backdrop of Europe's move to a cautious Corona routine that will include partial opening of stores and schools. The Spanish, Italian and French governments are expected to address the issue this week. Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte noted that production in major industries and "strategic businesses" may resume on May 4.

However Italy will not open the schools until September. Spain will allow families to go on joint walks and sports activities without escorts starting May 2. Belgium intends to open the schools on May 18 and France on May 11.

The partial return to routine will depend on enabling tracking technologies, improving test capability and real-time results, and regular provision of face masks. It should be noted that, although two weeks ago, the European Commission called on the EU countries to coordinate their exit strategies, the countries follow the data on their territory.
