Philip REEKER . - I do not agree with the premises of your question. There have always been ups and downs in our relationship, but I think that we are once again together in this crisis, 75 years after defeating fascism in Europe.
We are working together to defeat a new type of enemy, the coronavirus. This is an unprecedented challenge, which has taken us by surprise, partly because of the lack of transparency in another part of the world. But the weeks passed and the transatlantic commitment, especially Franco-American cooperation, was remarkable.

We have managed to coordinate the repatriation of our nationals, we are constantly exchanging information on the virus and our needs, and we are coordinating the return to economic activity very carefully. Assistant Secretary of Foreign Affairs Steve Biegun started a conversation
