A 17-year-old was cycling without a helmet on Saturday - and crashed near the Possenhofen train station. She suffered a laceration on the head and was followed as a precaution to the Murnau hospital.
Possenhofen - Due to a laceration on the head and the unclear severity of her injury, a 17-year-old mountain bike rider was flown from Possenhofen to the Murnau Clinic on Saturday by helicopter. The girl from Tutzing drove the mountain downhill towards the lake at 3:15 p.m. At the kiosk, the young woman lurched from a hitherto unknown cause and fell off her bicycle. As a result of the fall, she suffered a head wound and was hardly accessible. The police said that she had not worn a hard hat.
The ambulance looked after the girl. Since the severity of the injury could not be determined on site, the 17-year-old was flown to the Murnau Clinic with a rescue helicopter. The bike suffered material damage in the form of scratches on the left handle.
