The organizers of the Grand Prix of France have just announced this Monday "the impossibility of maintaining the Grand Prix of France 2020" due to the epidemic of Covid-19. Scheduled for June 28, the third edition of the GP which was to take place on the Castellet circuit will finally take place in 2021. "Due to the declarations of the President of the French Republic aimed at prohibiting major events until the middle of the month of July at least (...) the GIP Grand Prix de France - Le Castellet acknowledges the impossibility of maintaining the Grand Prix de France of Formula 1 ", specifies the press release. The organizers undertake "to facilitate the reimbursement of each ticket as well as the ancillary services marketed on its site".
